Vážení členové,
Vezměte prosím na vědomí, že Evropský parlament odhlasoval znovuzvolení Ursuly Von der Leyen předsedkyní Evropské komise na druhé funkční období a také schválení navrhovaného kolegia komisařů. Komisař Tzitzikostas převezme portfolio udržitelné dopravy a cestovního ruchu od 1. prosince spolu se zbytkem Komise.
Cílem ERFA v nadcházejících týdnech bude nyní zahájit diskuse s nastupujícím kabinetem komisaře Tzitzikostase v souladu s manifestem ERFA. Z hlediska nákladní dopravy předpokládáme, že nastupující komisař se začne silně soustředit na uzavření Nařízení o kapacitě železniční infrastruktury a rovněž předloží návrh na revizi směrnice o strojvedoucích. ERFA rovněž zdůrazní, že je třeba, aby Komise přišla s koherentní zaváděcí a finanční strategií pro ERTMS.

Please be advised that the European Parliament has voted to approve the re-election of Ursula Von der Leyen as European Commission President for a second term as well as the approval of the proposed college of Commissioners. Commissioner Tzitzikostas will take up the Sustainable Transport and Tourism portfolio as from 01 December along with the rest of the Commission.
The objective of ERFA over the coming weeks will now be to open discussions with the incoming cabinet of Commissioner Tzitzikostas along the lines of the ERFA manifesto. From a freight perspective, we understand the incoming Commissioner will start with a strong focus on concluding the Railway Infrastructure Capacity Regulation as well as bringing forward a proposal for a revision of the Train Drivers Directive. ERFA will also stress the need for the Commission comes up with a coherent deployment and financial strategy for ERTMS.
